TRIANGLE Earrings : I was a bouncy castle : Light Blue + Pink
Stunning earrings made with bouncy castle PVC and vinyl PVC off-cuts from Wyatt and Jack.
2 contrasting triangle shapes on a 24mm sterling silver hoop for pierced ears. The triangle shape means even less material is wasted from the off-cuts.
These salvaged bouncy castle earrings are made from flexible PVC and vinyl PVC, they are flat 2D shapes with a small hole that allow them to be easily removed and replaced on the silver hoops.
In 2018 I discovered the amazing bag company Wyatt and Jack, who salvage deckchair fabric, bouncy castles and now inflatables and turn them into gorgeous bags.
These earrings are made from the off-cuts after these materials have already been given a new lease of life. Keeping plastics in use in this circular-economy way means that they are kept out of the plastic waste crisis we are facing. Instead this plastic waste is used as a resource, and is given a second life.
I use sterling silver findings so that you can keep it in use for as long as possible. At the end of its life you can recycle the silver 🌈♻️🙌
I am here all day for any Blue + Pink combinations (just don’t tell Yellow). I know I say it a lot, but it boggles my mind that this material could just be sitting in landfill for ever and ever. Look how bright and vibrant it is. I’m so grateful to @wyattandjack and their amazing tireless work to keep these broken plastics out of landfill, they have so much more life to give. Have you checked out the bags that these offcuts come from?
[ size and colour may vary, due to the recycled nature of our fabrics-which is also why there may be a few characterful crinkles too! ]
These earrings have small parts, which are loose on the hoop fitting and can come off easily, and are not suitable for children.
